MORNING

Never get caught without the umbrella

One text before you're out of bed, and another one if the day turns on you.

Start my morning textsFree while we're in beta

Good morning. In New York, NY 10003: Clear today, high 77 and low 60. Heads up, some rain possible later today, 58 percent chance.

It gave you the call, not the data.

High, low, and whether you need to bring something. Everything else is there if you ask for it.

It knows where you woke up.

Share your location and the forecast follows you, in the right time zone, without you changing a setting.

It's still watching after breakfast.

Navi checks through the day and texts again if something shifts enough to matter.

Start simple, add what you want

By default Navi keeps it to the parts that change what you do today. Ask for more and it stays in every morning text from then on.

In by default:

conditions, high and low, any weather warnings, and whether to bring an umbrella.

Add any of these:

humidityUV indexfeels likewind speed and directiondew pointhourly temperaturesheadlinesa daily verse
With everything on, it looks like this:

Good morning. In San Francisco, CA: Clear today, high 79 and low 60. Humidity 90 percent. UV index 0 to 2 now, peaking at 6 to 7 today. Feels like 67. Winds WSW at 3 mph. Dew point 60. 7am to 11am: 65, 68, 72, 74.

It doesn't stop at breakfast.

Navi keeps checking through the day and texts you again when something changes from the morning forecast. A storm that wasn't there at 7:30, a heat advisory, rain arriving three hours early. That's the text that saves you, and a widget can't send it.

News and a verse, if you want them.

Pick from business, politics, sports, entertainment, world, education, fashion, and tech. Navi sends up to three of the day's most important stories with links, and skips the filler on a slow day. Ask for a specific angle and it follows it, like just the Knicks. You can also get a random verse from scripture at a time you choose. Set as many of these as you like, at whatever times work.

Say it how you'd say it

Text me the weather for home every morning at 6 and work at 8
Add the UV index and dew point to my morning text
Send me tech and sports headlines at 8
Send me a bible verse each day at 9
I'm in Yellowstone this week, make it 6am while I'm here
Start giving me the hourly temps from 7 am - 10 am so I can plan my runs

Same brain, other jobs

Questions

Conditions, the high and low, any weather warnings, and whether you should take an umbrella. Short on purpose.

Yes. Ask for humidity, UV index, feels like, wind, dew point, or hourly temperatures and they stay in every morning text from then on.

7:30am by default, and you can change it to any time. You can also set a temporary time while you're travelling and switch back when you're home.

Yes. Share your location and Navi sends the forecast for where you actually are, in that time zone. You can also set a specific override for a trip manually without sharing your location.

Anything that changed meaningfully since the morning. A new weather service alert, sudden thunder or heavy rain, or a forecast that moved. Navi checks every couple of hours.

Pick your topics and Navi sends up to three of the day's most important stories with links. If there isn't enough worth reading, it sends fewer rather than filling space. You can ask for a narrow angle too, like just one team.

Yes, a random verse from scripture at a time you pick.

Wake up already knowing.
